Job summary

Latham & Watkins LLP is seeking a Payroll Analyst to support payroll processing and data coordination across offices, located in our Global Services Office in Downtown Los Angeles with hybrid work options.

You will validate and process payroll data, assist with budget reporting, and help maintain confidential information relevant to compensation and benefits. A CPA or payroll credential plus several years of experience are highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Certified Payroll Qualification preferred
• Minimum 3 years of payroll processing experience with high employee volume
• Minimum 5 years of cumulative experience
• Experience developing analysis and producing reports
• PeopleSoft and ADP experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and timely payroll processing support
• Coordinate payroll data across offices and departments
• Validate, organize, and process payroll data for budgeting and forecasting
• Support bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll processes including off-cycle checks
• Enter and maintain payroll-related data in budgeting systems
• Protect highly confidential payroll information
