Job summary

Cedar Gate Technologies, an IQVIA business, seeks a Payment Posting Revenue Coordinator in Houston, TX. Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of payment posting experience in healthcare.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, payment reconciliation, and reimbursement methodologies.
• Proficiency with Office 365 applications, particularly Excel, and experience using billing systems.

Responsibilities

• Post high volume of payments to patient accounts in a timely manner.
• Review EOBs to verify reimbursement and identify discrepancies.
• Reconcile daily cash activity with deposits and balance batches.
• Maintain reconciliation spreadsheets to track posted payments and variances.
• Process refunds, voids, recoupments, and contractual adjustments.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve unidentified payments and posting issues.
• Meet benchmarks for posting accuracy, productivity, and turnaround time.
• Provide professional internal/external customer service.
• Use practice management and data systems to verify remittance data.
