Job summary

Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock is seeking a Patient Financial Services professional to analyze accounts and secure payments from guarantors. The role is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with hybrid work and training fully onsite; bilingual preferred.

You will help patients apply for Medicaid or financial assistance, contact guarantors, and explain insurance and reimbursement details with clarity. Training starts onsite and may lead to a longer-term hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field of study is recommended.
• 2 years of experience in lieu of a diploma/GED is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes accounts to assure appropriate payment from third-party payers.
• Collects Self Pay portion of balances.
• Contacts guarantors to aid in timely resolution of debt.
• Complies with debt collection laws and hospital policies.
• Provides prompt, accurate responses to customer questions about patient accounts.
• Explains medical reimbursement information to customers.
