South Jersey Radiology and Lumexa Imaging is seeking a Patient Access Representative I to schedule ultrasound and X-ray appointments, assist patients and physician offices, and verify demographic, insurance, and billing details. This role emphasizes courteous service and accurate data entry in the scheduling workflow.

Hybrid work in Mt. Laurel, NJ with some work-from-home eligibility based on performance and business need; prior call center or customer service experience is valued.

Qualifications

• 1-3+ years related health care scheduling for multiple locations, medical terminology, physician billing and/or medical office experience preferred.
• Call center or phone experience preferred.
• Previous customer service background required.
• Experience working with a computerized scheduling system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and confirms ultrasound and X-ray appointments. Enters all appointment dates and times into the scheduling system.
• Acts as liaison for center operations and centralized authorizations department.
• Contacts referring provider offices to obtain exam orders if necessary.
• Handles patient and provider calls (inbound and outbound) via telephone in a courteous and helpful manner.
