Job summary
We Are Legal Revolution in Houston seeks a mid-level Patent Prosecution Associate to join a national platform on a hybrid basis. You will draft and prosecute US and international patent applications in electrical and computer technologies, with increasing autonomy and direct access to partners.
The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of patent prosecution experience, a technical degree in EE/CS, and a JD with Texas bar or eligibility.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of dedicated patent prosecution experience in a law firm.
- Significant patent drafting and prosecution experience in electrical or computer technologies.
- US patent office admission (USPTO) and Texas bar eligibility or admission.
Responsibilities
- Draft and prosecute US and international patent applications in electrical and computer technologies.
- Manage prosecution strategy with increasing autonomy, including office actions and examiner interviews.
- Conduct due diligence, prior art analysis, and patentability/OPF and related legal research.
- Collaborate with inventors, in-house counsel, and partners to align protection with business goals.
- Contribute to practice growth and client development through high-quality work.
