Fish & Richardson P.C. seeks a technology specialist in our U.S. offices to draft patent applications for innovative clients, communicate with the patent office, advise litigation teams, and interview inventors about new ideas.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, experience with software and AI integrations, and at least 1 year of patent prosecution. USPTO registration is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with software, web applications, and AI integrations.
• At least 1+ years of patent prosecution experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Draft patent applications for innovative clients, including descriptions and figures.
• Correspond with patent office about pending patent applications.
• Advise patent litigation teams based on your technical and scientific area of expertise.
• Interview inventors about new ideas.
