Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online.
• Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with payroll processing and reconciliations.
• Landscaping, construction, or service industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily bookkeeping and accounting functions
• Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks Online
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
• Generate customer invoices and follow up on outstanding balances
• Prepare monthly financial reports, including profit & loss statements and balance sheets
• Assist with budgeting and cash flow tracking
• Process weekly payroll and ensure payroll records are accurate
• Maintain vendor files, W-9s, and subcontractor records
• Assist Controller and CPA with year-end reporting and tax preparation
• Monitor job costing and project profitability as required
• Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of financial information
