Job summary

CTwater is hiring a Customer Service Rep 1 (Part Time) in Clinton, CT to provide frontline service via inbound calls and resolve customer concerns. The role supports transfers, billing, service, and payments while operating in a CIS environment.

The position requires high school completion, strong customer service background, and proficiency in MS Outlook. It is a hybrid role with partial remote work and competitive benefits including 401(k).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Demonstrated excellent customer service experience required.
• Must be proficient at intermediate level in MS Office Outlook.
• Experience with proprietary Customer Information System (CIS) strongly preferred. JD Edwards experience a plus.
• Excellent data entry skills, speed and accuracy; attention to detail essential.
• Thorough knowledge of company rules and regulations preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by answering calls through the call center.
• Interpret customer records and account history to respond to inquiries regarding transfers, billing, service, and payments.
• Utilize Customer Information System to access data and generate reports.
• Learn and comply with all safety rules per Company Safety Manual and applicable regulations.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.
