Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Packaging Engineer Assistant for a 12+ month contract in Parsippany/Montvale, NJ. Hybrid role: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote, with up to 25% travel to manufacturing sites.

The job covers package development, commercialization, Amazon-ready packaging, and cross-functional project execution across a portfolio of household brands. Responsibilities include leading omni-channel packaging projects, redesigning packaging for SIOC/ISTA 6, and managing Amazon certification

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering required; Mechanical or Chemical Engineering degrees considered.
• 2–5 years packaging commercialization experience in CPG environments.
• Hands-on experience with packaging development, testing, materials, sealing, assembly, print technologies, and document management.
• Experience with Amazon SIOC certification, ISTA 6 testing, and PSSN.
• Knowledge of packaging validation, product compatibility testing, and commercialization processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead omni-channel and eCommerce packaging projects with emphasis on Amazon-ready packaging.
• Redesign packaging for SIOC and related requirements, including material selection, cost estimation, sampling, validation, and documentation.
• Manage Amazon SIOC certification activities and resolve certification issues.
