Job summary

Institute of Packaging Professionals is seeking a Packaging Development Engineer for a consumer products client. The role is hybrid, onsite in Ft.

Washington, PA or Summit, NJ (2 days/week onsite) with first shift, M-F. You will lead design, development, testing and production scale-up of new packaging, write documentation, and work across research, marketing, supply chain and QA to address packaging needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Sciences, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years manufacturing industry experience.
• Experience writing protocols.

Responsibilities

• Support design, development, testing and scale-up of new packaging.
• Collaborate with R&D, marketing, supply chain and other teams.
• Develop and route package development documentation for approvals.
• Lead risk assessments, test plans and data analysis for packaging changes.
