Job summary

Withum seeks an Outsourced Accounting Manager to join our growing OASyS team across multiple U.S. offices, including Boston and Burlington. The role is hybrid (3 days in the office) and involves leading a team to service technology clients with quality accounting, payroll, and reporting.

You will drive month-end close, manage journals, and coordinate audits while strengthening internal controls and process efficiency. A CPA or MBA and 5–7+ years in accounting are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.
• CPA preferred and/or MBA equivalent.
• 5-7+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership.
• Experience in outsourced accounting, advisory, or public accounting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team; assign work, review deliverables, coach for development.
• Oversee accounts payable workflows and approvals with documentation.
• Review payroll processing and related filings with client HR/payroll teams.
• Lead month-end close, journal entries, and general ledger accuracy.
• Coordinate external reviews and year-end audits; manage auditor requests.
• Strengthen internal controls and streamline close and reporting processes.
