Job summary

San Diego Community Power is seeking a Community Engagement Associate to support the SDREN program through outreach, coordination, and stakeholder collaboration. You will work under the Sr.

Community Engagement Manager and liaise with community partners, governments, and internal teams to drive engagement and participation. Ideal candidates have strong communication, project coordination, and community-facing experience, plus the ability to work in a hybrid setting across San Diego County.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication across diverse audiences.
• Strong coordination and project management skills with attention to detail.
• Experience engaging with community groups, government staff, and partners.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support customer-facing programs and outreach initiatives to raise awareness of Community Power and SDREN.
• Facilitate meetings, track action items, and monitor timelines across internal and external partners.
• Serve as a point of contact for community partners, customers, contractors and the public.
