Job summary

San Diego Community Power is seeking a Program Manager to lead CPUC-funded energy programs via SDREN. You will oversee day-to-day operations, coordinate with staff, contractors and stakeholders, and drive program delivery to meet goals.

You will manage budgets, reporting, and communications with agencies and boards, while ensuring compliance and equity in community energy initiatives. Hybrid schedule in San Diego County.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of experience in residential/commercial energy programs or CPUC funded programs.
• Knowledge of energy efficiency, building decarbonization, demand response or DERs.
• Understanding of environmental justice and equity principles.
• Knowledge of decarbonization strategies and CCA business model.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage SDREN programs including budget tracking, contracting, reporting and stakeholder engagement.
• Lead coordination and implementation of SDREN programs with staff, consultants and stakeholders.
• Monitor progress and recommend improvements to program delivery.
• Serve as primary contact for program activities with funding agencies, board and committees.
• Support development of RFPs and contract management.
• Work independently with strategic thinking to mitigate regulatory impediments.
