Requirements include ADN with BSN preferred, 1–2 years ambulatory or clinic nursing, active RN license, NCLEX, and BLS. The role emphasizes education, triage, and population health outreach within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• 1–2 years ambulatory/clinic/medical-surgical nursing preferred.
• Current state RN license and NCLEX completion required.
• BLS certification required; AMB-BC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients and performs triage in person and by phone.
• Assists physicians with examinations and procedures.
• Administers medications, immunizations, and treatments.
• Provides patient education and self-management support.
• Coordinates referrals, follow-up, and continuity of care.
• Manages patient messages and results within scope.
• Maintains a safe, clean, and stocked clinical environment.
• Documents care in the electronic health record.
