Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking a Part-time Registered Nurse for a Physician Practice in Virginia Beach, with second shift (Evenings) and a remote work option. The role involves nursing care in an ambulatory clinic, triage, education, and care coordination, reporting to practice leadership.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and perform triage in person and by phone.
• Assist physicians with examinations and procedures.
• Administer medications, immunizations, and treatments.
• Provide patient education and self-management support.
• Coordinate referrals, follow-up, and continuity of care.
• Manage patient messages and results within scope.
• Support prevention and population health outreach.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and stocked clinical environment.
• Document care in the electronic health record.
