Job summary

At Home Group Inc. is seeking an experienced Outbound Logistics Manager to oversee all aspects of outbound logistics. You will lead a team to ensure containers are available, loads are picked up on time, and transport to pool points proceeds smoothly.

Collaborate with the VP of Global Logistics and SVP, Supply Chain on projects and improvements. Responsibilities include developing transportation strategies, managing carrier performance, and driving continuous improvement across the distribution

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Supply Chain/Business related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5–10 years of Logistics/Transportation or related field.
• Experience establishing KPI metrics to benchmark/track performance.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks and projects.
• Highly motivated, energetic, strong sense of urgency to meet goals and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement transportation strategies to optimize cost, service, capacity, and performance across the network.
• Partner with DC, Store Ops, Supply Chain, and cross-functional leaders to improve transportation service and reduce costs.
• Establish and manage transportation performance expectations to meet service and financial objectives.
• Monitor market conditions, carrier capabilities, and opportunities to identify savings and improvements.
• Lead management and performance of the core carrier network, including onboarding and cost management.
• Develop transportation capacity strategies for peak seasons, openings, and volume changes.
• Analyze spend, metrics, and service performance to identify root causes and improvements.
• Evaluate routes, coverage, and network requirements for existing and new locations.
• Maintain on-time delivery performance and proactive issue resolution with stakeholders.
• Drive cross-functional initiatives to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Build relationships with carriers and internal teams to align priorities and capacity.
