Job summary

ABB is hiring for a cybersecurity role focused on coordinating and facilitating the development, implementation, and onboarding of digital solutions in the North America Process Automation Energy Industries Division. You will support adoption of digital platforms into customer environments and provide ongoing lifecycle support, training, and collaboration with Sales and technical teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher degrees in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 2 years in industrial automation or OT environments.
• 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in industrial automation or OT environments preferred.
• Strong understanding of ICS/SCADA systems, network protocols (Modbus, OPC, etc.), and industrial communication standards.
• Knowledge of OT security best practices and cybersecurity frameworks (IEC 62443, NIST, ISO/IEC 2700x)
• Familiarity with cyber platforms (e.g. AV Solutions, Backup and recovery, Network Monitoring) and patching strategies of OT systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical support to customers by helping them apply cybersecurity solutions that enhance the security and resilience of their OT environments.
• Execute and support implementation of cybersecurity solutions, contributing to timely and cost‑effective project delivery through coordination and technical expertise.
• Provide training and ongoing support to customers throughout the solution lifecycle, from onboarding to post‑deployment, to ensure successful adoption and long‑term satisfaction.
• Collaborate with Sales and technical teams to understand customer requirements and demonstrate how cybersecurity offerings address specific operational challenges.
