Job summary

Centerline Communications LLC is seeking an experienced OSP Coax Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot coaxial networks for reliable broadband service. The role covers aerial and underground work, testing, and documentation within a hybrid schedule.

You will read prints and diagrams, perform balanced signal testing, and ensure safety compliance while supporting both passive and active network elements. Travel to field sites is required as part of a dynamic project team.

Qualifications

  • 1–3+ years of experience in coaxial cable installation or telecommunications field work.
  • Strong knowledge of HFC networks preferred.
  • Experience reading system maps and design prints.

Responsibilities

  • Install, splice, and repair coaxial cable in OSP environments (aerial & underground).
  • Perform aerial and underground coax construction, including strand placement and cable lashing.
  • Perform signal level testing, sweep, and system balancing.
  • Read and interpret prints, maps, and network diagrams.
  • Troubleshoot repair faults efficiently.
  • Operate bucket trucks and other telecom equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
  • Document work completed and maintain accurate records.
