Job summary

Universal Services is seeking an Installation Specialist I to perform coaxial cable installation, activation support and component setup in aerial, underground, and building environments. You will read plant diagrams, install taps, splitters and line extenders, and assist with activation and signal balancing.

This full-time field position requires reading coax construction prints, following OSHA/NEC standards, and documenting measurements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of coax or HFC installation experience.
• Ability to read coax plant diagrams.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Registered Power Limited Technician (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Coax installation and activation in aerial, underground, and in-building environments.
• Install and configure taps, splitters, line extenders and related HFC components.
• Assist with activation and signal balancing procedures.
• Read and follow coax construction prints and plant diagrams.
