Job summary

SLG Services, Inc. is seeking an advanced journey-level telecom technician to perform complex OSP installs, maintenance, diagnosis and repair, and to lead a crew on site.

The role requires 4+ years of telecom/OSP field experience, proven fiber and coax construction and testing ability, and a valid driver's license. A certified pole climber is a plus as the company provides on-the-job training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 4+ yrs telecom/OSP field experience.
• Proven fiber & coax construction/testing capability.
• Valid driver's license; certified pole climber a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform the most difficult fiber and coax installations, maintenance and repair.
• Advanced testing/troubleshooting of fiber optic and HFC networks.
• Lead and guide install/construction crew members; serve as on-site lead hand.
• Interpret complex prints/specs; verify quality against Comcast standards.
• Maintain documentation, as-builts and inventory of tools/test gear.
