Job summary

Control Risks seeks an analyst to conduct open-source intelligence research to support a complex threat intelligence program. You will gather information across multiple venues to identify threats and threatening discourse affecting clients.

Responsibilities include delivering clear written analysis, contributing to bespoke threat assessments, and maintaining strong attention to detail. Spanish/Portuguese language skills are a plus and the role supports hybrid work arrangements.

Qualifications

• Practical knowledge of open-source intelligence collection and threat analysis.
• Ability to prepare concise written reports with strong attention to detail.
• Experience in directing, collecting, and analyzing information to produce timely, actionable intelligence.
• Practical knowledge of the deep and dark web threat landscape.
• Spanish and Portuguese language skills are a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent demonstrable experience.

Responsibilities

• Research and information gathering across multiple venues to identify threats and discourse surrounding clients.
• Identify existing and emerging trends in negative chatter surrounding clients.
• Gather information on individuals and groups through open source, social media and deep and dark web research.
• Conduct research on specific topics to contribute to bespoke threat assessments.
• Research new sources of information and develop capabilities to collect and analyse information for the team's mission.
• Deliver clear and concise written analysis to contribute to production of bespoke threat assessments.
• Communicate effectively to conduct peer review of intelligence outputs.
