Job summary

SMA America, based in Rocklin, CA, is seeking an Order Management Specialist, Distribution and Direct, to manage direct and distribution accounts with precise order entry and proactive customer service.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree and 3–5 years in admin or logistics support, with experience in order management or customer service. SAP and Salesforce knowledge preferred; hybrid work model and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent years of work experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in an administrative or logistical support role.
• Demonstrated experience in Order Management or customer service.
• Strong proficiency with data entry, accuracy, and documentation.
• Knowledge of SAP and Salesforce is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as the key point of contact for order-related inquiries from customers and sales managers.
• Address complex order challenges while prioritizing demands and making informed decisions.
• Process orders, returns, credits, and replacements with data integrity and compliance.
• Communicate order status, lead times, shipment tracking, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate with Sales, Logistics, Transportation, and Finance to meet requirements.
• Research and resolve complex order, inventory, shipping, and billing issues.
• Monitor open orders and identify risks to delivery commitments.
• Create open order reports for Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, and Transportation.
• Create and present the lead time report in weekly SCM meetings.
• Maintain accurate customer records, order docs, and metrics.
• Obtain freight quotes to support delivery requirements.
