Job summary

Siemens is seeking an experienced Order Management & Planning Professional to support integrated order execution and production planning for its Livermore and San Leandro operations. The role reports to the Order Management & Planning Manager, requiring organization, proactivity, and strong cross-functional coordination in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This hybrid role is based in either San Leandro or Livermore, CA.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field.
Five or more years in order management, production planning, or similar roles in manufacturing.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems and execution tracking tools.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel with planning files, dashboards, or trackers.
Strong analytical, organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.
Professional working proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

Coordinate order execution from release through delivery preparation and status updates.
Maintain clear order visibility, milestones, issues, and risks to support reliable delivery.
Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Materials, Logistics, Quality, Sales, and Customer Service.
Support production planning and scheduling to align priorities and constraints.
Track readiness factors like engineering release, material availability, and production dependencies.
Support delivery date maintenance and call out risks and unresolved issues.
Assist with urgent or high-risk orders as needed.
