Job summary

Lam Research is seeking a Manufacturing Process Specialist to drive end-to-end SAP order execution and production planning optimization in a hybrid Bay Area environment. You will lead design, integration, and deployment across SAP ECC/S/4HANA, MES, QM, and PLM, shaping scalable, efficient processes for a high-growth semiconductor business.

You’ll partner with global planning, IT, and operations to deliver robust solutions, perform testing and cutover activities, and continuously improve adoption

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related discipline.
• 8+ years leading or supporting end-to-end SAP Order Execution, Production Planning & Production Control, PP/DS and manufacturing transformation in ETO/CTO environments.
• Experience with at least two full lifecycle SAP ERP implementations (ECC and/or S/4HANA).
• Experience with SAP Material Requirements Planning, Production Versions, PP/DS, Order Routings, Production Order lifecycle, and related master data.
• Experience integrating SAP Production Planning with MES and QM.
• Knowledge of manufacturing operations in complex equipment environments.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills across all levels.
• Strategic thinker and self-starter with strong ownership.

Responsibilities

• Identify process improvements for Production Control and Planning in ETO/CTO using SAP PP/DS and S/4HANA.
• Lead solution design and implementation for Variant Config, Super BOMs, PP/DS, and related SAP items.
• Support ECC to S/4HANA transition including cutover strategy.
• Integrate SAP PP with PLM, MES, QM, and warehouse execution.
• Collaborate with global planning, operations, IT, and partners to deliver scalable SAP solutions.
• Support testing, cutover prep, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Provide post-go-live support and ongoing process optimization.
