Job summary

Oregon Department of Administrative Services (DAS) is seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (ISS8) to join the Middleware team within Data Center Services. The role focuses on ensuring data integrity, system performance, and cross-team collaboration in a hybrid work setting.

You will manage Oracle and DB2 databases, participate in disaster recovery planning, and mentor on automation and scripting.

Qualifications

• Seven years of information systems experience in Oracle database administration.
• Associate’s or higher degree in IT-related field with relevant Oracle experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with Oracle DBA experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain stability and performance of Oracle/DB2 environments.
• Diagnose complex problems for customer agencies in the AIX environment.
• Coordinate solutions between agencies and implement disaster recovery for Oracle services.
