Job summary

Capgemini is seeking an Onsite Technical Lead - Java Full Stack to join a scrum team in an onshore-offshore delivery model in Camden, NJ. The role involves driving end-to-end solution design, mentoring offshore developers, and delivering high-quality Java-based applications.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of Java/Spring Boot experience, strong RESTful API skills, and a background in Agile environments, with front-end knowledge (Angular/React) and AWS familiarity.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of solid experience in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful Web Services, and modern web application development.
• Experience working in Agile projects.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java (8-17), Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, JDBC, Hibernate, Maven, and Gradle.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies including JavaScript and modern frameworks such as Angular or React.

Responsibilities

• Lead development efforts using Java and modern web technologies to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
• Own technical deliverables including code reviews, design validation, release planning, and test strategy.
• Provide technical leadership in troubleshooting production issues and guiding offshore teams.
• Ensure Agile execution, sprint planning, and delivery governance across distributed teams.
