Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Associate degree or higher in Construction/Architectural/Engineering; Bachelor's preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years full-time (or 4,000 total hours) of occupational experience in the program taught; one year within five years prior to appointment.
• Exception provisions for emergency staffing or specialized expertise may be considered by college leadership.

Responsibilities

• Foster student learning with instructional strategies for diverse needs and multiple delivery methods.
• Assess student learning and provide regular feedback; use data to improve outcomes.
• Develop and revise competency-based curriculum aligned with employer expectations and college policy.
• Maintain attendance and grade records; ensure safe, well-equipped instructional environment.
• Engage in division, department, and team activities, planning and budgeting.
• Build relationships with community, industry, and clinical partners for recruitment and program development.
• Advise students on schedules, internships, and career information; support student success.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and maintain accreditation-related requirements.
