Job summary

Confluence Health in Wenatchee, WA seeks a full-time Oncology Pharmacist to safely prepare, verify, and dispense chemotherapy and related medications within established clinical protocols.

You will collaborate with oncologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize therapy, review orders, counsel patients on use and side effects, and contribute to multidisciplinary care plans and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical oncology pharmacy skills covering chemotherapy and supportive care regimens, interpretation of treatment protocols, and therapeutic drug monitoring.
• Proficiency in sterile compounding, medication verification, safety checks, and adherence to USP and regulatory standards.
• Effective collaboration and communication within multidisciplinary teams, patient and staff education, and clear documentation of care.
• Experience with electronic health records and oncology-specific medication ordering systems; ability to navigate, verify, and document electronically.

Responsibilities

• Review treatment orders and perform clinical assessments.
• Counsel patients and caregivers on medication use and potential side effects.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary care plans and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure safety and handling standards compliance.
