Job summary

United Against Human Trafficking in Houston seeks a Vocational Training Coordinator at the Blalock Campus to provide one-on-one job coaching, job-readiness workshops, and employment support to clients.

You will develop training calendars, coordinate with training providers, recruit candidates for programs, screen referrals, and ensure participants set measurable goals and complete program requirements with oversight from a Vocational Training Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Ability to facilitate workshops using online platforms or in-person.
• Strong understanding of the hiring process and job placement.
• Excellent organization and time-management skills.
• Experience working with diverse populations and communities.

Responsibilities

• Leads recruitment for vocational training programs.
• Supports clients enrolling in certificates and training courses.
• Ensures proper screening and orientation prior to services.
• Develops vocational training calendars with providers.
• Maintains relationships with staff and training partners.
• Recruits for Employment Certification Program and tracks attendance.
• Documents client progress and outcomes in the ETO database.
• Liaises with volunteer job coaches to align program goals.
