Insight Global is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager (Hybrid) to lead large-scale data center migration projects for enterprise clients. The role requires deep networking expertise, strong PM skills, and a track record of delivering complex infrastructure migrations on time and within budget.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring transparent communication and alignment throughout the lifecycle.

Formación

• 7-10+ years of experience in Service Delivery and IT infrastructure project management, focusing on data center migrations.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-site networking projects for service providers or large enterprises.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end execution of data center migration projects.
• Collaborate with network architects, engineers, and stakeholders to define scope, goals, deliverables and timelines.
• Develop and maintain project plans including budgets, schedules and risk assessments.
• Serve as primary contact for clients, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee and coordinate technical teams to ensure design, testing and migration execution.
• Identify and mitigate risks to maintain project progress.
• Conduct status meetings, prepare progress reports and escalate critical issues.
• Work with customer solutions teams to ensure deployments meet best practices and client requirements.
• Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and compliance requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement through post-migration reviews and lessons learned.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager (Hybrid) to lead and manage large-scale data center migration projects for a leading data center networking company. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in networking, excellent project management skills, and proven success in delivering complex infrastructure migration projects on time and within budget.

Essential Functions of the job

• Lead the end-to-end execution of data center migration projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network architects, engineers, and stakeholders, to define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines.
• Develop and maintain project plans, including resource allocation, budgets, schedules, and risk assessments.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring transparency, communication, and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee and coordinate technical teams to ensure successful design, testing, and migration execution.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, addressing issues proactively to maintain project progress.
• Conduct status meetings, prepare progress reports, and ensure timely escalation of critical issues.
• Work closely with Customer solutions teams to ensure deployments align with bestpractices and client requirements.
• Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and compliance requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement through post-migration reviews and lessons learned analysis.

Skills and Requirements

• 7-10+ years of experience in Service Delivery and IT infrastructure project management, with a focus on data center migrations.
• Demonstrated experience in managing complex, multi-site networking projects with service provider customers or large financial services enterprises.
• Proven ability to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to scope.
• In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, infrastructure, and migration methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience using project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, etc.).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification
• Strong expertise in Networks solutions, including EOS, CloudVision, and spine-leaf architectures
• Hands-on experience with deployments in large-scale environments.
• Familiarity with cloud integrations and hybrid data center strategies.
• Strong understanding of automation and network orchestration tools.
