ESCA is seeking an experienced IP Litigation Paralegal to join our growing New York City team. You will work closely with attorneys to manage active federal court matters, keep a complex docket running smoothly, and ensure every filing, deadline, and deliverable is handled with precision.

This hybrid (or fully in-office) role requires local NYC residency and the ability to travel to federal courts as needed.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree; Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-accredited program preferred.
• At least 3–5 years of paralegal experience with a strong focus on federal civil litigation.
• Hands-on experience with CM/ECF and in-person filings in New York federal courts.
• Strong knowledge of FRCP and SDNY/EDNY local rules.
• Experience managing litigation dockets and calendaring with dedicated docketing software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Teams, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.
• Local to New York City with reliable access to federal courts.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and maintain the firm's litigation docket and calendar using docketing software (e.g., Docketbird, Alt Legal); review court orders, TTAB/USPTO correspondence, and internal communications to capture all deadline-triggering events
• Coordinate proactively with associates and partners on upcoming deadlines and case status; participate in weekly docket update calls
• Prepare and submit federal court filings via CM/ECF, including in-person filings, ensuring compliance with SDNY, EDNY, and other applicable local rules
• Assist attorneys with drafting and proofreading motions, correspondence, and other litigation documents
• Prepare TOAs/TOCs, organize exhibits, apply Bates stamping, and support discovery management
• Coordinate and manage court printing, exhibit preparation, and preparation of court copies for hearings, trials, and other proceedings
• Maintain organized client matter files across Clio, OneDrive, or similar platforms
• Assist with TTAB filings and IP enforcement/takedown coordination as needed
