Job summary

Wella Company seeks an Associate Director, Performance Media to own and scale its precision media engine across Amazon, DTC brand sites, and TikTok Shop. You will drive revenue, efficiency, and measurable outcomes while partnering with eCommerce, content, Finance, and Analytics teams.

The ideal candidate has deep retail media experience, strong analytics, and the ability to translate data into action to grow ROAS and LTV. This role is hybrid in NYC and reports to the Head of Media North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred.
• 7-10+ years in performance media, digital marketing, or eCommerce growth.
• Deep hands-on experience with Amazon Ads, retail media networks, and DTC performance channels.
• Strong understanding of media economics, attribution, and revenue-driven optimization.
• Proven ability to manage media budgets tied directly to sales outcomes.
• Highly analytical, comfortable with data, dashboards, and financial metrics.
• Strong communicator with the ability to partner with Sales, Finance, and senior stakeholders.
• Experience in beauty, CPG, or fast-moving consumer environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own performance media strategy across Amazon Ads, DTC paid media, and TikTok Shop with accountability to revenue, ROAS, and margin.
• Lead Amazon media planning and execution in partnership with sales and retail teams.
• Own paid media strategy for DTC brand sites and scale TikTok Shop media with test-and-learn mindset.
• Manage performance media creative and testing with Brand and agencies to drive revenue.
