Job summary

Quilt Software, a fast‑growing SaaS company, seeks an Accounting Manager to lead our Finance team in NYC. You will oversee billing, revenue recognition, cash management, and monthly close, working with senior leadership to scale accounting processes as the company expands globally.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in public accounting, CPA preferred, and a strong grasp of US GAAP. This role offers a hybrid work model with significant ownership and cross‑functional exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 2–4 years of public accounting experience preferred.
• CPA is a plus.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience in software/SaaS industry preferred; SEC exposure a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ERP management of Netsuite and financial systems.
• Prepare and consolidate corporate and divisional financial statements.
• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes; drive efficiency.
• Coordinate with external auditors (Grant Thornton).
• Contribute to acquisition accounting and post‑acquisition integrations.
• Develop scalable accounting processes and cross‑functional collaboration.
