Citrus Valley Medical Associates is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our Primary Care team, delivering comprehensive primary care to adult and geriatric patients. You will collaborate with physicians, APPs, clinical staff, and leadership to provide high-quality, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Must hold California licensure as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Board certification or eligibility through ANCC or AANPCB is required or anticipated.
• Active DEA license is required.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is required.
• Prior primary care experience is preferred.
• Experience caring for medically complex patients is desired.
• Experience with managed care populations and quality-based programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage adult and geriatric patients.
• Obtain comprehensive medical, social, and developmental histories.
• Perform physical examinations.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses.
• Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies.
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans.
• Provide patient education and preventive care guidance.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other clinicians.
• Refer to specialists when indicated and exercise clinical judgment.
