Qualifications

• Master’s in Nursing required; doctoral preferred.
• Current Texas RN license required.
• Minimum two years of nursing practice in the last five years.
• At least two years of prior nursing education/teaching experience.
• Administrative or program leadership experience preferred.
• Experience with teaching in online/hybrid settings; APA proficient.

Responsibilities

• Design, review, and approve nursing program curriculum and policies.
• Hire, evaluate, and supervise all program faculty (full-time, half-time, adjunct).
• Teach one course and/or clinical section per year.
• Oversee student licensure-advising and NCLEX-RN eligibility.
• Maintain accreditation/approval standards with BON and accreditor.
• Develop and oversee clinical placements and simulation exercises.
