Job summary

Black & Veatch’s VDDS Staff Engineering Technician role supports Nuclear projects within the Power Providers Market Sector. You will help develop high-quality engineering 2D/3D deliverables and modify electrical design drawings using Bentley MicroStation and related Bentley tools.

Lighting design experience with AGI32 is preferred. This role requires strong foundational electrical engineering knowledge and the ability to work in a hybrid environment with on-site and remote collaboration.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate is required.
• Associate Degree in Drafting or Engineering Design Technology is preferred.
• Typically a minimum of 5 years related work experience.
• Citizenship requirements outlined in 10 CFR 810 may apply for nuclear program work.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify technical deliverables for design projects.
• Create and maintain electrical design drawings using CAD/BIM and 3D modeling.
• Apply established design practices and standards to deliver moderately complex concepts.
• Coordinate with design group personnel to exchange project information.
