• Leads core accounting functions: disbursements, receipts, payroll processing, and reconciliations.
• Oversees fiscal close: GL analyses, journal entries, and adjustments.
• Administers Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT accounting system.
• Manages cash flow, forecasts disbursements, and follows up on delinquent donor pledges.
• Produces monthly internal financial statements.
• Manages vendor payments and reporting compliance for funders.
• Directs external audit processes and ensures compliance with deadlines.
• Prepares schedules for Form 990 and annual financials.
• Drives audit remediation and updates Finance Policies.
• Partners with CFO on strategic financial processes.
• Leads process-improvement initiatives across the organization.
• Supervises staff accountants and accounts payable.
• Collaborates with VP FP&A on strategic reporting and board-level analyses.
