Spectrum Brands’ Home & Garden R&D is hiring a New Product Industrial Designer in Earth City, MO. This hybrid role combines remote and on-site work (Mon & Fri remote; Tue–Thu on site) to translate consumer insights into innovative, user-centered delivery systems and devices.

Work closely with engineering, marketing, manufacturing and other R&D teams to prototype, test, and refine products emphasizing usability, ergonomics and manufacturability. A strong portfolio and CAD proficiency are required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design
• 4+ years of experience in industrial design
• 3+ years in hard goods design execution
• Proficiency in Acrobat Pro, SolidWorks (or other 3D modeling software), Keyshot, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), PowerPoint
• Experience in consumer-packaged goods preferred
• Portfolio showcases design expertise with creative thinking and prototyping
• Knowledge of materials used for hard and packaged goods production

• Design Execution:Develop concepts with emphasis on ergonomics, form, and function; create 2D/3D renderings; quick physical form studies; prototyping and testing; collaboration with suppliers; design-for-manufacturing
