Spectrum Brands, Inc. is seeking an New Product Industrial Designer in Earth City, MO. This hybrid role collaborates across R&D, engineering, marketing, and manufacturing to translate consumer needs into new products.

Demanding candidate with 4+ years in industrial design, strong CAD/3D rendering skills, and a solid portfolio. Relocation assistance may be provided; office work Tue–Thu with WFH Mon & Fri.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design and 4+ years in the field.
• Experience in hard goods design execution (3+ years).
• Portfolio showcasing design thinking, prototyping, and CAD work.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, Keyshot, and SD/CAD tools.
• Familiarity with materials for hard goods production.

Responsabilidades

• Translate consumer insights into new, consumer-focused products.
• Collaborate with Marketing, NPD, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.
• Develop design concepts focusing on ergonomics, form and function.
• Create 2D/3D renderings and quick physical form studies.
• Prototype, test, and iterate looks-like and functional models.
• Maintain CAD documentation and manage design for manufacturability.
