New York Life Insurance Co. seeks a New Business Service Representative to support agents and clients within a hybrid environment (in-office 4 days/week, 1 day work-from-home).

You will manage insurance policy applications, coordinate underwriting, and handle inquiries, enabling efficient service through the new business process. Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of customer service, strong MS Office skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service and administrative experience.
• Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent day-to-day customer service to agents, clients, and Field Management.
• Coordinate underwriting requirements by interacting with agents, clients, outside medical vendors, and underwriters.
• Assist with workflow of applications for life products, annuities, contract changes, policy billing and initial and downstream accounting entries related to the new business process.
• Answer incoming calls, greeting customers and potential agent candidates may be required.
• Assist with in-person responsibilities to provide the support required of the Agents and Agency Managers within the General Office.
