New York Life is seeking a Service Representative to support agents and the General Office, guiding onboarding and contracting processes so new agents can begin selling insurance. You will partner with management to ensure smooth operations and accurate documentation throughout the onboarding lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and/or office administration.
• Clear, professional communication (phone and email) and strong stakeholder service.
• Meticulous data entry and document review; audit-ready attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams); quick to learn new systems.
• Strong organization and time management; able to prioritize and meet SLAs.
• Discretion with sensitive information; compliance-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks in the contracting system to advance contracts along in the process.
• Track background-check and fingerprint results; follow up with Partners; escalate issues as needed.
• Review onboarding paperwork for completeness and accuracy; resolve data or documentation gaps.
• Communicate with Partners to provide candidate status updates and answer questions.
• Process forms to ensure agents are integrated in our systems correctly.
• Assist with in-person administrative responsibilities to provide the support required of the Managing Partner within the General Office.
