Job summary

4Front Credit Union is seeking a Network and Systems Administrator to keep our networks, servers, and services secure, available, and performing at a high level. The role is hybrid, requiring in-office presence Tue-Thu with some remote work on Mondays and Fridays.

On-call rotation is about every nine weeks, including evenings and weekends, to support critical infrastructure. You’ll monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, support updates and backups, and collaborate across IT teams to improve

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of network, systems, or related IT experience is preferred.
• A basic understanding of network and server administration.
• Familiarity with operating systems, infrastructure tools, Active Directory, and access management.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and organization.
• The ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and collaborate effectively across IT teams.
• Flexibility to occasionally support evening or weekend technology needs.

Responsibilities

• Support the administration and maintenance of network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, connectivity, and network devices
• Help install, configure, update, and maintain servers while monitoring performance, availability, and overall system health
• Troubleshoot network, server, and connectivity issues, resolving everyday problems and escalating more complex challenges when needed
• Support user accounts, permissions, Active Directory, and access management while following established security practices
• Help protect system availability and data through patching, security controls, backups, recovery testing, and proactive monitoring
• Maintain accurate technical documentation while collaborating with Network, Security, Applications, vendors, and other IT teams on projects and improvements
