Job summary

Wescom Central Credit Union is seeking an experienced IT Operations professional to design, implement, and support advanced networking, security, and telecommunications systems. You will guide staff, analyze system performance, and propose upgrades to meet evolving business needs while maintaining strong client relationships.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree and 6–8 years of relevant experience, plus certifications such as CCNP/CCIE or MCSE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 6–8 years of experience in network, security, telecom or IT systems development.
• Equivalent experience may offset educational requirements.
• CCNP, CCIE, MCSE or security certifications are preferred.
• Solid understanding of routing, firewalls and phone system configurations.
• Proven ability to design and implement complex networked systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop networking, security and communication systems with performance considerations.
• Respond to production problems promptly for supported systems.
• Conduct system analysis and configuration with limited external support.
• Analyze, deploy and supervise network/telecommunications systems for information processing.
• Translate requirements into task specifications for IT staff.
• Document configurations and changes throughout deployment and support.
