Job summary

Fisher Investments in Plano, TX seeks a Network Security Operations Associate to provide networking and facilities support daily. You will work with the network infrastructure team to engineer, test, document, and deploy secure networking solutions while ensuring operational excellence.

The role emphasizes hands-on configuration, documentation, and collaboration across teams; a Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year in security or DevOps, plus familiarity with Python and modern firewall

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in network security or DevOps/Sec.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination.
• Foundational knowledge in Python.
• Foundational knowledge of next-generation firewall platforms.
• Experience with IaC (Terraform, GitHub, CI/CD) in Azure or AWS.
• Basic knowledge of routing and switching (Cisco preferred).
• Desire to build a career in network security operations/engineering/DevSecOps.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, team environment.
• Strong time-management and workload prioritization.
• Proficiency in MS Office and diagramming tools (Visio, Lucidchart).
• Familiarity with NMS platforms and data center software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee assigned operational tasks to completion.

• Create process maps and architecture diagrams with Visio/Lucidchart.
