Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Working knowledge of computer networking principles
• Hands-on experience with network hardware and software (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or similar platforms)
• Strong understanding of network protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, and OSPF
• Strong understanding of network security practices and tools
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Pre-Sales Support: Work closely with the sales team to provide technical expertise during the pre-sales phase
• Network Design and Implementation: Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN) and configure/install devices and services (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)
• Maintenance and Support: Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including patches and security configurations
• Troubleshooting: Monitor network performance and ensure system availability; provide Level 2/3 support
• Security: Implement security measures and conduct regular security assessments
• Documentation: Maintain accurate network documentation
• Collaboration: Work with IT staff and vendors for problem resolution
• Performance Monitoring: Use network monitoring tools to optimize performance
• Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with technology trends
