Job summary

PathGroup seeks a Network Engineer to ensure stability and integrity of its in-house voice, data, video, and wireless networks. You will analyze, plan, design, and monitor LANs and WANs while installing, maintaining, and optimizing network hardware and software.

The role requires hands-on experience with Cisco/Meraki, VPNs, IPS, and security practices to protect PHI and company data. Hybrid work arrangement and on-call rotation are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of hands-on networking experience.
• Understanding of the OSI model.
• Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions.
• Ability to implement and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices (APs, Firewalls/VPNs, Routers, Switches).
• Cisco and Meraki experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy company LANs, WANs and wireless networks.
• Configure networks for reliable operation and alignment with PathGroup objectives.
• Upgrade network hardware and software timely.
• Ensure PHI security in network operations.
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Create and maintain network documentation and records.
• Establish and maintain VPN connections and IPS management.
• Collaborate with IT to assess capacity needs and vendor interactions.
