Job summary

Career Soft Solutions Inc in Albany, NY is seeking a .Net/Java Developer on a 30-month contract with possible extension. The role is Hybrid in Albany, NY, with potential telecommuting up to 100% remote with manager approval and monthly in-person meetings at the Albany office.

The developer will translate business requirements into enterprise applications, work with tech leads to implement designs, and ensure software aligns with business needs and project plans.

Qualifications

• Level II- Between four (4) and seven (7) years of experience as a Developer.
• More than 5 years' experience working on complex projects including developing applications using SOA Design patterns, Microservices Containerization using Docker or OpenShift, Databases (including SQL Server, Oracle, and No SQL Databases) and Object-Relational Mapping frameworks and experience with Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
• More than five (5) years' experience in developing responsive web applications with DevSecOps tools and processes (e.g. Azure DevOps, Git, SonarQube) to include experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery techniques.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements and use cases to develop enterprise applications and unit testing.
• Collaborate with technical leads and architects to transform designs into technical components.
• Develop applications based on technical requirements, design, architecture principles, and standards.
• Produce work products and applications reflecting system design and project delivery.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Other duties as assigned.
