Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Cloud Network Engineer II to design, implement, and support secure, scalable cloud and hybrid network infrastructure across AWS, Azure, OCI, and on‑prem environments in Farmington Hills, MI.

You will build and manage multi‑cloud connectivity (VPN, SD‑WAN, Direct Connect, Megaport), manage Cisco and Meraki gear, and design routing, switching, and segmentation while collaborating with security and application teams to improve performance and reliability.

Qualifications

Hands-on cloud networking experience across AWS/Azure/OCI and on-prem
Experience with Cisco and Meraki infrastructure
Knowledge of multi-cloud connectivity solutions and network security

Responsibilities

Design and support secure, scalable network solutions across AWS, Azure, OCI, and on-premises environments.
Build and manage hybrid and multi-cloud connectivity (VPN, SD-WAN, direct connect, Megaport).
Manage on-premises network infrastructure (Cisco and Meraki).
Design and maintain routing, switching, and segmentation (BGP, OSPF, VLANs).
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot across cloud, on-premises, and provider networks.
Work with telecom providers to manage DIA, broadband, and redundant connectivity.
Manage DNS, DHCP, and IPAM in hybrid environments.
Apply network security best practices (firewall policies, segmentation, encryption, PKI).
Support vulnerability management and cloud migration efforts.
