Job summary

Oliver James is seeking a Senior Cloud Network Engineer in Farmington Hills, MI for a full-time, hybrid role (3 days onsite). You will design, implement, and support secure, scalable network infrastructure across AWS, Azure, OCI, and on-prem environments.

You’ll work hands-on with Cisco and Meraki, manage hybrid connectivity, and collaborate with infra, security, and application teams to keep platforms integrated and reliable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years cloud engineering experience (AWS, Azure, OCI).
• AWS SysOps certification or equivalent.
• 5+ years server administration (Windows/Linux).

Responsibilities

• Design & support secure network solutions across AWS, Azure, OCI, and on-prem.
• Manage hybrid/multi-cloud connectivity (VPN, SD-WAN, direct connect).
• Administer Cisco and Meraki infrastructure.
• Maintain routing, switching & segmentation (BGP, OSPF, VLANs).
• Apply network security best practices (firewalls, PKI, encryption).
• Support cloud migration and DR/BC initiatives.

You'll work hands-on with Cisco and Meraki platforms, multi-cloud connectivity, and hybrid architecture, partnering with infrastructure, security, and application teams to keep our platforms stable and well-integrated.
