Job summary

TEKsystems in Farmington Hills, MI is seeking a Cloud Network Engineer II for a contract-to-hire role. You will design, implement, and support cloud and hybrid networking across AWS, Azure, OCI and on-prem environments, focusing on secure, scalable, and highly available connectivity.

You'll work with infrastructure, security and application teams to improve network performance, reliability and security while supporting cloud adoption.

Qualifications

• Design, implement and support cloud and hybrid network infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with cloud networking, Cisco and Meraki.
• Build secure, scalable, highly available connectivity across multi-clouds.
• Collaborate with infra, security and app teams to improve platforms.
• Manage routing, switching, DNS/DHCP/IPAM and security practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and support secure, scalable network solutions across AWS, Azure, OCI and on-premises.
• Build and manage hybrid multi-cloud connectivity (VPN, SD-WAN, direct connect, Megaport).
• Manage on‑premises Cisco and Meraki infrastructure.
• Design and maintain routing, switching and segmentation (BGP, OSPF, VLANs).
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot across cloud, on‑prem and provider networks.
• Work with telecom providers to manage DIA, broadband and redundant links.
• Document network designs and procedures.
